Generally speaking, stainless steel materials used for CNC machining need to have dimensional stability, processability, ease of processing, corrosion resistance, impact resistance and other properties. There are some stainless steel materials that meet these standards, however, not all stainless steel materials are suitable for processing on CNC machines. The term stainless steel covers a very wide range. The more common stainless steel grades used for CNC machining include SS303, SS304, SS316, SS416, SS17-4PH, SS15-5, etc. The difference in machinability of all stainless steel materials lies in the amount of other metals added. How we make it

Our CNC processing equipment for stainless steel parts is mainly divided into two types: CNC lathes and CNC milling machines. These two machine tools have different processing techniques and are suitable for manufacturing different types of stainless steel parts. CNC lathe processing is also called CNC turning. It is mainly used to manufacture axially symmetric parts. CNC lathes can also process internal holes, threads, engravings, etc.; while CNC milling machines are used to process complex shapes, such as planes (horizontal, vertical) , grooves (key grooves, T-grooves, ant grooves), gears, helices (threads, spiral grooves) and various curved surfaces. Laser cutting is only used in rare cases.
